Walking With Moms in Need

You sometimes need someone non-judgmental to talk to, someone who wants to understand your struggles and support you. Walking With Moms In Need is here to help. If you would like someone to walk with you as you go through your pregnancy and/or raise your child, please let us know.

Pregnant and parenting moms in need are in our parishes, our workplaces, and our neighborhoods. As Pope Francis reminds us, our parishes need to be “islands of mercy in the midst of the sea of indifference.” Everyone in our parish community should know where to refer a pregnant woman in need because every week, our Parish bulletin lists the local pregnancy help centers with contact info: Birthright, PDHC and Women’s Care Center. Walking With Moms In Need will assess, expand, and, with your help, better communicate resources to pregnant moms and families in our community. Please pray with us.

In addition, funds are being collected to buy gift cards to be given to moms in need as soon as they ask. There will be a limit to the amount given to any one mom.
