All children in grades 9-12 are welcome to join us for our annual Winter Retreat! This fun and faith-filled retreat is a great opportunity to learn about your faith, spend time in community with like-minded people, and grow your relationship with God. Join us on Monday, December 16th from 6:30-8:30 for an evening of community and reflection on the coming of our Lord at Christmas! The parish will provide pizza, salad, and beverages. Please bring a dozen of your favorite Christmas cookies if you are able. We will eat and enjoy community together and watch the Chosen Christmas special.
Parishioner, Julie Greer, was recently presented with the Cross Pro-Ecclesia on October 6th by Bishop Fernandes. “The Cross Pro-Ecclesia et Pontifice is bestowed on laypersons and clergy who have given service to the Catholic Church. The papal award was founded by Pope Leo XIII in 1888 and was originally intended to mark his 50th priestly jubilee.” Julie has worked for the Diocese of Columbus in the Chancery “as the executive assistant to Bishop Emeritus James Griffin, Bishop Emeritus Frederick Campbell, Bishop Robert Brennan and Bishop Fernandes during her 20 years with the diocese.” Read the full article linked here.

Enjoy a candlelight wonderland, complete with inspirational speaker Emily Jaminet, live music, and delicious food and drinks.
The holiday season is almost upon us; a time that's supposed to be joyful and festive. But for many people, this time of year can be difficult, especially if you or someone you care about are struggling with the loss of a loved one. If you're feeling grief this holiday season, know that you're not alone. Please consider joining others in a morning of reflection and conversations with one another. Please join us for our annual Memorial Mass on Tuesday, November 5th at 7:00pm. We will gather as a community to remember and pray for those who have died this past year. There is no better way to celebrate them than by remembering them in the prayers of this special Mass. Please sign up by Friday, November 1 so we can have a candle ready. Please Note- Candle sign-up is reserved for those who have passed away in the last year, but all are welcome to attend and remember all loved ones who have passed.
This month’s First Friday Breakfast will be on the 8th instead of November 1st due to the Holiday (All Saints Day) and the Church offices being closed. Please RSVP as this month will be catered.
Join us for a tour of the St. Gabriel Radio Station, 4673 Winterset Drive, Columbus, OH 43220, on Wednesday, October 23rd. A bus will take us to and from the Radio Station. Meet at the Ministry Center at 9:45 am. We will return by 12:30 pm. There will be a "Meet & Greet" of the St. Gabriel staff with pastries and coffee. The tour ends in the St, Gabriel Chapel where we will say the Rosary. Afterwards there will be a group photo. The only cost is for the bus - $11 a person - with a limit of 28 people. The Kairos SCI 7 team ministers to the Southeastern Correctional Institution in Lancaster, Ohio, where we put on Kairos retreats for inmates twice a year. Our next “inside” weekend runs from October 3, 2024, through October 6, 2024. As part of the retreat, we offer to the prisoners tangible reminders of agape (the highest form of selfless love) from the community of believers to show them that they are not alone or forgotten. Church of the Resurrection, New Albany Ohio, will host a Deaf Retreat conducted by Fr. Mike Depcik entitled ‘Holy Eucharist: Live Jesus.’
The retreat is open to all Deaf, Interpreters for the Deaf and hearing people who are fluent in sign language throughout Ohio and surrounding states. Each person must register to attend the retreat. The day long retreat will conclude with reconciliation and then 5:00 pm Mass.
Join us this summer for STAR Squad! July 15-19, 2024 from 8:30-2:00pm. STAR Squad is a week-long summer program for students entering grades 6-9 in the fall.
