When Jesus saw the two disciples following him, he turned to them and said, “What are you looking for?” They said to him, “Rabbi, where are you staying?” and he said to them, “Come and see”, and they stayed with him that day (John 1:38-39).
You, too, are invited to “come and see” what we are like and what we believe in. Family catechesis is available as part of our LIFT (Living in Faith Together) ministry.
Christian Initiation of Children (CIC)
Classes are now forming for families with children in grades 3-8 who have been baptized but have not yet received their First Holy Communion. We will be using an at-home First Communion family experience called Nourish. Each family will receive a box that will include everything needed for 10 family “meetings” including: puzzles, baking, reading Scripture, meaningful conversation, and much more.
We will kick off this 10-week program with a family breakfast and information meeting held in the Ministry Center on Sunday, January 29th from 10:00-11:30. At this time we will go over the details of the Nourish program and give families everything they will need to prepare their child to receive First Eucharist in April.
