On April 23rd, Church of the Resurrection will host ‘God’s Future Saints’, presented by Fr. Mike Depcik, Deaf priest and Director of Deaf Ministry in Archdiocese of Detroit.
You must register to attend the retreat. The daylong retreat will conclude with Reconciliation and Mass concelebrated by Fr. Mike Depcik and Fr. Denis Kigozi, Pastor at Church of the Resurrection. See the specifics, below.

Fr. Mike Depcik will concelebrate Mass with Fr. Dennis Kigozi. The Mass will be celebrated in American Sign Language (ASL) with a voice interpreter for hearing people.

Fr. Mike Depcik was born in Chicago into a Deaf family. He graduated from Gallaudet University in 1993 with a BA in Secondary Education and History.
He joined the Oblates of St. Francis de Sales a year later. Father Depcik earned a MDiv from SS. Cyril and Methodius Seminary, Michigan.
He was ordained a priest in 2000 and has worked for the Diocese of Lansing, MI and the Archdioceses of Chicago, IL.
In 2005, he earned a Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling for the Deaf from Gallaudet University.
Currently, he ministers to Deaf Catholics for the Archdiocese of Detroit, Michigan. Father Depcik has given workshops throughout the United States, Canada, Africa, Australia and Europe.
He co-authored a video curriculum for Deaf youth entitled: Confirmation: Strengthen in Faith. Father Depcik also is host of a popular video vlog that provides weekly reflections on the Sunday readings for the Catholic Deaf community.
