Baptism Class Facilitator
Description:
Couples willing to assist with preparing parents for the Baptism of their infant child. Training provided and required.
Time:
Approximately 2 hours, 2 to 3 times per year
People needed:
4 couples
Bible Study Leaders
Description:
Provide leadership for the Great Adventure bible study small groups. Bible studies may take place anytime during the year. Training is required and provided prior to the session start.
Time:
1 hr. of training in facilitating a small group, plus 10-24 weeks of Bible study sessions depending on the particular study.
People needed:

Pre-Cana Team
Description:
Pre-Cana team of married couples who assist the clergy in preparing engaged couples for the Sacrament of Matrimony. Presenting teams are expected to prepare talks from provided outlines. Hosting teams are to prepare a place to meet, evening snack, continental breakfast and lunch; all are reimbursed.
Time:
Three sessions per year (Friday evening/daytime Saturday), ½ day team update session, presentation preparation (help is provided). Optional Diocesan meetings and activities.
People needed:
Presenting team 10-12 couples, married for 5 + years. Hosting team 4-6 couples, no minimum marriage years.

Description:
Form a community of Catholics involved in introducing non-Catholic adults to the Catholic Faith tradition.
Time:
Approx. 2 hrs. per week from September through May

Description:
Act as a mentor for an adult seeking entrance into the Catholic Church.

Description:
Provide weekly religious education instruction to students grade K to 5.
Time:
3 hours per week including home preparation, late September to late April. Training and lesson plans are provided.

C.R.E.E.D. Child Care
Description:
Provide childcare for children of Catechists for the C.R.E.E.D. program
Time:
One and a half hours, approximately once per month

CREED Hall Monitor
Description:
Assures safety in the parking lot at CREED drop-off/pick-up time and safety in the hallways during CREED.
Time:
One and a half hours, weekly or bi-weekly

C.R.E.E.D. Supply Room Coordinator
Description:
Straightens the room a couple of times a month. Re-shelves books and supplies and notifies Joan or Peggy when supplies need replenishing

Vacation Bible School Volunteer
Description:
Help facilitate activities for a one-week VBS program (morning and evening sessions)
Time:
2 hr. training meeting, then 3 hrs. per day, Sun evening – Friday noon, one in the morning and the other in the evening.

Word of God
Description:
Leaders and Aides needed for the Word of God program conducted during weekend Masses, October through April. This program opens the Word of God in an age appropriate way for students aged 4 to 8.
Time:
25 minutes, approximately once per month, training will be provided as well as easy to implement curriculum.

Middle School Leader (GRADES 6-8)
Description:
This is a group of committed, creative, Spirit-filled adults who want to share their faith and gifts with teens. We meet with the teens Sunday nights from 6-7:30 pm. September through May. Middle school leaders also plan and chaperone service projects, social events, and one or two overnight retreats throughout the year.
Time:
Every Sunday evening from 6-7:30 (September to May)

Senior High Leaders
Description:
Senior high leaders gather every Sunday night, September through May, with the teens for CrossTraining, our senior high program that consists of fellowship, prayer, Scripture study and more. We meet from 6-7:30 pm in the Ministry Center. In addition to attending CrossTraining, the senior high leaders, chaperone and participate in one overnight retreat in January, service projects, social events, and more.
Time:
Every other Sunday evening from 6-7:30 (September to May)

Confirmation Leader
Description:
Small group leaders are needed for this year’s Confirmation program. We’re looking for dynamic, engaging, faith-filled adults who have a desire to share our awesome Faith with those students who are discerning Confirmation.
Time:
Every other Sunday evening (6-7:30) from September through May.
