During this Advent Season, we will have Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament with Exposition in the Reservation Chapel each Thursday, beginning December 2, 2021, and continuing through December 23.
The hours of Exposition will begin after 9 a.m. Mass on Thursdays and continue non-stop until 11 p.m. each Thursday – approximately 13 ½ hours of continuous Exposition.
Out of respect for the exposed Blessed Sacrament, we are seeking to have ADORERS who will act as Guardians of the Eucharist...which means that you will guarantee to be there for the hour or hours you choose. We will need at least 2 Guardians for every hour of Exposition, but up to four each hour is acceptable.
The registration process has been improved from previous years with the use of the Sign-Up Genius program.
There is no limit to how many hours you can be a Guardian; however, you must be there or get a substitute if you sign up for any hour. If you want to be a Guardian for the same hour all four Thursdays, you will need to register for that hour on each Thursday. We would prefer to have no more than 4 adorers in the chapel at the same hour. If you cannot commit to all 4 Thursdays, simply choose those days and hours to which you can commit.
Due to the recent surge of the delta variant of the COVID-19 coronavirus, Bishop Brennan has asked us to exercise prudence and charity by wearing masks at indoor parish activities, including these Adoration periods.
